These beautiful people were missing me today so they came to the shop to help deburr parts. They told me it was “satisfying.” I told them, “my hands hurt.” 🤣🤣🤣 So thankful for such a supportive family! The American Buffalo. Unlike other herd animals, the Buffalo possesses a unique trait that I admire greatly. When bad weather approaches other herd animals turn and run away, thus increasing their exposure to the harsh elements. BISON, however, turn and face the thunderhead. Squaring their shoulders to it, they walk headlong INTO THE STORM. They face the hard; tilling the ground with their hooves as they move, allowing the seed to take root. Their mere existence improving the land behind them. When I first learned about this I knew I wanted to be the Buffalo. To face the difficult head first in hopes of sunny skies coming sooner but also leaving the world and those around me better than I found them. This is why I started Mayhem. Because the world is Mayhem and we are the Buffalo. The story, and the name, are not unique to me. They are in fact inspired by a person I’ve never met who runs a buffalo farm I’ve never been to. If imitation is the best form of flattery, I hope if he ever sees this, not only is he flattered but proud of what he has inspired. Just like the work we do is not unique to us; you can find machine shops on every corner. What I hope you find with us is something different. That personal connection. That feeling of knowing that your work is truly appreciated and that you experience something different when you chose us. It’s been a minute since we posted and it’s mainly due to NDAs that won’t allow us to show you what we’ve been up to. So we decided to showcase one of our employees…introducing Floats Malone! Floats has been with us since before the install of our 5-Axis waterjet. His primary role is to keep an eye on the water level in the tank. Not much is known about Float’s past but we think he’s seen some things. Regardless, he reports for work early, never complains, always does his job, and makes people smile! @flowwaterjetofficial @postmalone @kcsissom @mattsissom

It’s been a LOOONG few days but when a customer is in need we pour a little extra oil in the lamp, garnet in the hopper, and hours into the day/night. Grit & Pressure. It’s what makes us different. We’ve been so blessed this past week with the startup of our new machine and work to go on it! We had literally just begun “training day” when a customer called and needed some parts cut NOW. Another call came in and we haven’t taken our foot off the ⛽️ since!!! Thank you everyone that has helped and encouraged us to this point! We are so grateful for it all! Now let’s pull up our boots one more time and make this delivery so we can enjoy some much needed family time.
